Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions govern the relationship between Dünya Kruvaziyer Acenteliği ve Turizm Ltd. Şti., acting as Costa Türkiye, and the consumer whose name, surname, and address are stated in the tour registration form. By completing a reservation, the consumer is deemed to have accepted the terms set out below.

1. Contracting Parties

This agreement is concluded between Dünya Kruvaziyer Acenteliği ve Turizm Ltd. Şti., operating under the commercial identity of Costa Türkiye, and the consumer whose information is stated in the relevant reservation or tour registration form. The agreement covers the services purchased in connection with the cruise, related travel services, and all applicable reservation conditions.

2. Payments

For overseas cruise reservations, 30% of the total tour price is collected as a prepayment at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date. If the balance is not paid within the specified period, the reservation may be treated as cancelled by the consumer and the applicable cancellation conditions may be applied accordingly.

3. Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Amendments

If the consumer decides to cancel the cruise, the applicable cancellation conditions stated in the reservation form and in the relevant tour details shall apply. In cases involving air travel, cancellation and change conditions imposed by the airline shall also be valid. In scheduled flights, name changes are generally not permitted, and any airline penalties arising from ticket loss, cancellation, or amendment shall be borne by the consumer.

If flight reservations connected with the cruise are ticketed on the option date, any airline-related cancellation costs resulting from the consumer’s cancellation shall be reflected to the consumer in full. If the consumer fails to join the tour at the starting point and does not provide written notice that participation will continue, Costa Türkiye may cancel all reservations made on behalf of the consumer after 24 hours from the start of the trip, and no refund shall be made in such circumstances.

Costa Türkiye may, where necessary, operate the tour without Turkish guiding service if the required minimum participation is not reached. In addition, the cruise line may change ports of call, arrival and departure times, or similar operational details before or during the cruise when required by operational or safety considerations.

4. Passport, Travel Documents, and Flights

All passport types, including ordinary and special passports, must have a validity of at least six months from the beginning of the tour. Costa Türkiye is not obliged to carry out visa procedures on behalf of the consumer. If requested, the consumer may be directed to third-party service providers for visa support. In all flight-related services, international aviation rules and airline conditions apply, including schedule changes, airline changes, aircraft changes, stopover amendments, baggage rules, and other carrier practices.

5. Force Majeure

Events regarded as force majeure under applicable legislation, as well as extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Costa Türkiye or its intermediaries, may prevent the package tour from starting, continuing, or being completed as planned. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, epidemics, fires, storms, floods, earthquakes, war, mobilisation, border closures, terrorism, sabotage, civil unrest, embargoes, strikes, lockouts, port closures, and similar extraordinary events.

In cases of force majeure, Costa Türkiye and its intermediaries cannot be held liable for failure to perform the agreement fully or properly due to circumstances beyond their control. However, in the event that the consumer is placed in difficulty during the trip, Costa Türkiye or its representatives are expected to provide prompt assistance within the limits of their operational capacity and legal responsibility.

6. General Provisions

Costa Türkiye reserves the right to make changes to hotels, means of transport, overnight arrangements, departure times, departure points, and similar tour elements, provided that the standards of the purchased service are maintained and the consumer is informed accordingly. Tour programmes provided during registration are indicative and may be amended where necessary. Optional excursions are not an essential part of the agreement unless expressly included in the package price.

Costa Türkiye acts as an intermediary between the consumer and the cruise line, hotels, airlines, transfer providers, and other third-party service suppliers involved in the tour. In the event of disruption, accident, or service failure, the consumer shall first direct claims for material or moral damages to the primary service provider responsible for the relevant service. If the consumer cannot fully recover such claims from the primary liable party, any legally attributable responsibility of the travel agency may then be evaluated.

Consumers participating in the tour, even if they have not personally signed the agreement, are deemed to have accepted these terms if the reservation was made on their behalf. A consumer making a reservation for more than one person is responsible for fulfilling all obligations arising from the agreement. If a consumer leaves a tour on the grounds of defective service, this must be notified in writing to the agency representative and, where applicable, to the accommodation provider together with the reasons. Otherwise, the consumer may be deemed to have left the tour for personal reasons.

On embarkation day, cabins may not be delivered before 14:00. On disembarkation day, cabins must be vacated no later than 10:00. In triple cabins, the standard of the additional bed may differ from the main bedding arrangement.
